Note: The length of each presentation session varies based on the course duration and participant count. A class size of eight is considered optimal.

    • Why is this presenter appropriate?
    • Logistics regarding the subject, location, timing, method, and duration
    • How these factors influence the overall structure
  • Organizing the content:
    • Conducting research to master the subject matter
    • Sequencing information logically
    • Selecting and utilizing complementary visual aids

Readying the Presenter

  • Three core communication channels:
    • Verbal: Word choice, avoiding colloquialisms and jargon
    • Vocal: Tone, delivery, and eliminating distracting filler words
    • Visual: Appearance, demeanor, and stage presence
  • Practicing the delivery and seeking candid feedback from trusted sources
  • Strategies for managing anxiety

Optimizing the Setting

  • Room configurations and the implicit messages they convey to the audience
  • Leveraging the physical space to enhance the overall presentation experience

Presentation Proficiency – Reflection

  • Delivering a subsequent presentation following adequate preparation time.
