Requirements

This is a practitioner-level course. Candidates must meet one of the following agile knowledge prerequisites: iSQI® Certified Agile Essentials (CAE), iSQI® Certified Scrum Master Pro, ISTQB® Foundation Level Agile Tester, or possess two years of professional experience working in an Agile environment. Given the experiential learning approach, this course assumes a baseline of knowledge. Failure to meet these assumptions may make it difficult for candidates to complete the course and assessments within the allotted time. Participants are expected to already be proficient in applying basic practices and techniques, such as:

  • Knowledge of Test Design techniques – Equivalence Partitioning (EP) / Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) / State Transition / Decision tables / Exploratory Testing
  • Basic testing terminology
  • Understanding the differences between functional and non-functional testing, including core concepts of Performance and Usability testing
  • Ability to perform all activities associated with the fundamental test process
